It is our pleasure to invite you all to attend the 77^th Annual meeting of SBC, to be held at IIT Madras, Chennai from 18^th to 20^th December, 2008. Young scientists are particularly encouraged to participate and present their results. The meeting will be structured to stimulate interaction and discussion among the participants on the most recent developments in Biochemistry. We hope you will be able to join us and enjoy an exciting meeting.

The theme of 77^th Annual meeting of SBC is "Impact of Basic and Translational Research on Medicine, Agriculture and Industry".  As in previous years, the meeting will consist of cutting edge topical symposia wherein experts focusing on different areas of research will be invited to share their exciting findings. These symposia will be in addition to poster sessions.
